Project-Community Based School
 Another project community based school started by Omaxe foundation on March 2010. which has been opened at such a place where people live below poverty line and are not capable to provide education to their children. They are lived in slum area. Community based school of Omaxe are run in Sangan Vihar and Nehru vihar which is known by Gyan Jyoti Bal Vidhyalaya.
Gyan Jyoti Bal Vidyalaya School is committed to provide an environment which is conductive to learning and where all children can develop skills and attitudes of life.
Each children is valued and respected regardless of ability, race, gender, religious, social background, culture or disability and is offered a child centered curriculum, opportunities, to develop to their full potential, the mean of develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially and the chance to develop good behavior and responsible attitudes for life. Staff will ensure their approach to all children is non-discriminatory that all group have equal access to the full range of educationally opportunities provided by the school and that diversity is celebrated. As laid out in its disability equality scheme the school will make every to ensure that no child parents.
Under this project children are provided Primary and mandatory education for nursery to fifth classes at free of coast so they can be developed. Dresses, books and bags are also provided by foundation at free of coast. Not only this foundation provides free education but also provide other mandatory requirement. They are to be educated in such a way that they can be self dependent and impact and awareness may be seen in them. They may increase their power by their education and they can achieve their goal in their life.
Teacher provides their full potential to the children to develop their skills and attitude with manners. The student’s exams are divided in three sessions on one year. First session started on September and then second one is on December and the last one is on March onwards. The result is depending upon the ability and understanding of children. And according to their good ability in exam we provide them reward to increase their quality in life.
 Both schools have two shifts morning and evening. The morning shift started on 8:00 am to 12:30 pm and evening one is on 1:00 pm to 4.30 pm. So the children who will not admit on morning shift because of some problem they can easily increase their learning skill in evening shift by admitted themselves on it.
Admissions are provided to all classes of children any religion, caste, disability. All are provided education in equal way. Health related information is provided them to take care of their health. Health camps are run from time to time. Children are educated about health. They are informed about different kind of disease like dengue, malaria, chicken guinea etc And give them advice how to cleaned their home, school and society.
They are informed about different national festival. They are educated about social, cultural and moral education.
Each child is developed by giving education so that they can understand his responsibilities and they can completely know his responsibility to our society. We develop their courage so that they can achieve their goal by their power.
Total 202 children are in sangam vihar and 317 children in Nehru vihar are getting education at free of coast. Children are getting education in each subject as in other school. They are informed about games and creativity work at least one a week. They are also taught about artistic expression they create drawing and capable in showing their expression.
Our organization has its existence from last four years. Our object is to start a meaningful way which may be helpful spreading happiness in life of children and turn their dream into reality.
For the developed India it is essential to together and for togetherness educated society is needed which is impossible without any effort. So our main objective is to educate and create opportunities for who live in slum area and below to poverty line. Our object is for their betterment and to make cultured society by educate their children in this way. We are making our effort by our programs and we will continue it.
