| In pursuance of the mission, Omaxe Foundation would undertake following programmes in the coming year.
Quality Life for Construction Workers
- Improving the quality of life of construction workers, The Foundation proposes to undertake activities to provide better facilities. As a start up a module is prepared and being executed at all the construction sites of Omaxe Group. Later this would be implemented across India by networking with other Real Estate developers.
- To promote rights of persons with disability, environmental sanitation, hygiene and social reforms through education, training and awareness campaigns.
- promote the basic protection for construction workers rights in accordance with the national labour standards
- lobby with state and national governments to initiate social security measures for construction workers
Girl Child Initiative
As an advocacy tool, Kauwahakni , a telefilm on girl child education has been produced by Omaxe Foundation for awareness generation among the most affected, in terms of illiteracy of Girls in the states of Bihar and Jharkhand. The Foundation will also start a programme in Bihar to support primary education of girls in the districts with the lowest literacy rates.
Omaxe Foundation would generate resources from Omaxe group employees through their contribution. In the second phase the Foundation would work out a concerted campaign and raise resources through NGOs and other sources to provide total quality care to 100 girls in or around Delhi. The Foundation also plans to set up a permanent facility of a school with boarding facility for 2000 underprivileged children in the next three to five years . Omaxe Foundation would also focus on the issue of Female Foeticide.
Earthquake Resistant Structures
With the building now rising vertically the need has been felt to give a serious thought to Earthquake Resistant Technology. Omaxe Foundation has come up with a pilot project on this issue. In order to generate awareness and consensus among the builder fraternity, the Foundation intends to facilitate a channel exchange of knowledge among the practitioners and academicians.
As a first step the Foundation organized a brainstorming session to identify the issues which are as follows:

- Awareness Generation
- Alternative Technologies
- Cost Effectiveness
The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for both the academicians and practitioners on a common forum and create unanimity among the stakeholders of the industry. The Foundation is organizing a conference as a first step to carry forward the basis of a long-term programme of constant monitoring and evaluation of projects.
‘Celebrating Bharat Ratna’ - Encouraging innovative talents
To give shape to the vision of an ingenious and creative India, the programme, ‘ Celebrating Bharat Ratna' , has been designed to discover, encourage and support entrepreneurial inventions and sustainable efforts from the grassroots level from the remotest part of the country.
As part of the first venture, Omaxe Foundation has supported the innovative efforts to create ‘Pushpak' - an all terrain vehicle. ‘Pushpak' has the distinction of being India's sole representative at the SAE Mini Baja West 2006, the international car design competition in Portland, USA. The vehicle has been designed and fabricated by the engineering students of Sardar Vallabbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, Gujarat.
Distinguished personalities on the advisory board include:

- Shri Brijesh Kumar, former IT Secretary, Government of India and an urban development expert.
